"Fathers Therapy"

The most engaging moments we share with our children as fathers usually comes in times that we least expect. Fathers Therapy is a visual representation of moments within my household where I was blessed to bond with my children. As fathers it is important to find that time to allow your child to speak freely and open about the things in their lives. It's therapeutic to say the least, it creates a wealth of open exchange, from laughs to silence and some times pain. In times where I nurtured their hair whether it be a haircut or a standoff with beautiful strands of hair. This that therapy on display... this is my therapy each day.

As many of us know there are some fathers today whom are without the mother of their children. After losing my mother to breast cancer in 2014, death became a reality that I had to face day to day. As a tribute to the man fathers whose wives have passed on I decided to tell a story through.

What looks to be a typical day of hair preparation turns into a magical moment for this child. Fathers daily hair regiment provides a small window for the Heavens to peak through.
